I've released Skirmish on #itchio, a #Godot prototype #freegame card game I was working on in the early stages of the business. Skirmish very much informed how I'm approaching the project I'm currently working on. This is my first "official" release!

My GDD for my #godot #roguelike #deckbuilder is complete enough that I can talk about it coherently, leading to great discussions through ROC Game Dev and others. Going to be working on wireframes and physical prototyping this week!

I've entered pre-production on my first commercial #Godot roguelike game, starting with a GDD (Game Design Document). I'm roughly halfway through it, and I'm going to be building out the system mechanics & goals next.

I've wrapped up the business foundation of my indie video game studio startup, and I'm moving into pre-production! I've switched to @codecks.bsky.social for project management, it's been a great fit. Talk about floodgates; I wrote this update, then did 6 pages of a GDD.
