Motor Mouths Made it to 🥇 Gold bracket in Shark Tank: Shallow Waters. Unfortunately we got round 1 eliminated 😞 but we’ll do better next time!

Exactly one year ago, we first started work on the Stronghold Beginners Academy. Back then, we were just six volunteers, most of us new to community work. Today, the SBA has helped over 190 players enter the competitive splatoon community and find a team. 🧵

10 years ago Nintendo launched a game that was considered a worthless risk on a dying console. Today the same game gave to me fun, emotive moments, friends, and most importantly: A space where I found myself and my voice on this endless sea. Happy 10th anniversary to Splatoon.
