I'm sure people are sick of seeing me talk all personal like this but I prefer it over constant silence I've been noticing my work become simpler and duller in terms of composition and I've not given myself much room to be more creative And as I sit back and try, I just feel empty

This is Torukein, but I like to call him Toru, because it's adorable! For a side story or loose sequel story to my main comic, mainly featuring Ana and Toru. He's also a titan, of something I call the "Otherworld." Kind of a himbo, but not a nice one. But a protective beast nonetheless 😊

I spent years trying to go for a style closer to realism because I had no role models that told me stylization was okay, I still find myself letting old habits slip through and pushing away my desire to dramatize my style It results in me just not liking my work sometimes Style is not an enemy 😭

I think expanding the portfolio as an artist can definitely be a good thing But Im tired of artists being selective with support and love. An artist is not "lesser" because they chose a different path than you. Sometimes its harder for them. Even if its not, maybe thats what they want. Its still art
