I've been replacing a LOT of the textures in this area with my own hand drawn textures (used CC0 textures before, very proud of the new results so far) in hindsight I should've done this BEFORE asking for help with textures but now I can at least find out what I can and cannot do

I get sick fairly often in a single year cuz I live in a house with a lot of people, if even one of them gets sick we all get plagued I bring this up because oughhh god oughhhh

I chose NOW of all times to experiment with my OWN textures, and for some of them I actually like the results well enough however there are still some textures that I CAN'T do on my own, especially interior sci-fi textures, so I'll compose a list of textures I'm SURE I'll need help with soon

learning a bit about vertex paint texture blending, it's surprisingly easy to work with once you get a flow going, but the hardest part STILL has to be making unique textures I just don't have the brain capacity to make cool stylized grass textures or dirt textures or etc textures

it feels weird to actually have characters that AREN'T bound by the "maybe not canon" curse, cuz these guys are all ACTUALLY canon yo the canon OWR cast is gonna remain just Mona, Maris, and Gim for quite a bit longer, at least until we make some new shorts (scope management)

the next OWR short has yet to enter pre-production yet, I've been on a short break to prevent burnout the writing and voice acting is already done, I just need 2 more environments (my least favorite to make lol I'm really bad at it ough help me) and then it's onto animation

I'm satisfied enough with a lot of these textures, might fiddle with a few, but the biggest offender are the weird pink barrels what sci-fi barrel design would be better as a background asset??
