trying some new things with my rendering, and using my friends oc as a subject for it. i've noticed that with soft shading i have an issue with over-relying on blending and blurring too much, so i wanted to do something with no soft shading at all. force myself to do no blending at all.

my life is an endless nightmare of having to update my strawpage to fit my new design. hopefully i won't have to update it for a while now. i've been being lazy and putting it off and finally got around to it.

it hasn't been a bad year overall. i think i improved. my improvement was more in the fundamentals i think, body shapes and construction. my rendering hasn't improved much this year, unfortunately.
