I think it was some metaphor for asexuality at first, because in 2012, a census displayed that 1% of the population identified as asexual. "As rare as a unicorn". And that people refused to believe that asexual people existed at all. But, Unicorn means more things than that, too, orz

I don't weant to be popular. I am very tired of being popular. Being popular was killing me. I am very glad that I was able to pull in line enough niche usernames, to hide enough details about my life, that it takes too much effort for people to recognise who I am, so I get to be a nobody again.

From 2018-2022, I did a line of physical paintings which could not be captured by scanner nor camera, only viewed in its' true form by the naked eye. It was a protest to how I felt at that time towards the ever-hungry all-consuming beast of online algorithm that many artists felt slave to.

The developing skill of an artist can overcome flaws and create a work that will become desirable, economically, culturally, intellectually, to the point where its smoothness becomes non-stick and the spirit slides off it like teflon because it looks like so many other technically perfect things
