Ostrander wrote one Secret Six issue back in the day, rewrote some of Deadshot's backstory to fit in with modern comics, only a shame is that Nicola Scott wasn't drawing S6 here anymore, you have no idea how many laps "feeling suicidal Floyd?" "Actually no, feeling homicidal, padre" did in my brain

One of the greatest Deadshot moments him saying "they lied to me about the importance of life" in the comic where his son is brutally killed, cut to years years later Zoe is a bit older and he is starting to feel like he does want to change and LIVE, if for anything for her

In the OG Suicide Squad there was this subplot about Count Vertigo battling with being bipolar and asking Deadshot to kill him, and in the end Vertigo decides to live and this is how the comic wraps up and I still think about it a lot
