[inspired by Ciroystone’s animation 😍] Iron Bull bellowed, realizing only now WHY the stone circle was forbidden at midnight on a Gorgon Moon. But his shout trailed to a raspy crackle as his body petrified in a hard granite embrace. As a stone statue, he’d not be warning ANYONE!

Happy is the muscular bodybuilder with overweening ambition! Happy is he who makes the ill-conceived wish for a solid rock-hard physique! Happy, happy, happy! Joy, joy, joy!… … and permanently imprisoned as a granite statue, frozen within his own body, never to move again!

Exiting the cavern after acquiring magic from the dying sorcerer to endow him with a powerful rock-hard physique, the warrior suddenly realized the catch: as the sunlight struck his flexing muscles, his flesh solidified permanently into rigid immovable granite - a statue forever!

Perhaps the heavily muscled but overly-ambitious bodybuilder added just a bit TOO many mineral supplements into his protein-laden workout drink…

“HA! YES! Infinite power and strength is miiiiAAAAAAAAAAAH…..” These were the very last words to pass his thick stony lips before his massive muscles stiffened and froze forever into a huge chiseled sculpture of solid granite, his glazed empty eyes staring blankly into oblivion.

In those tense crucial seconds ‘twixt a living muscleman and a cold inanimate granite sculpture…

The muscular square-jawed hero was warned how dangerous it was to wander at midnight about the grounds of the Church of Our Lady Medusa of Eternal Suffering. Alas, now he will remain trapped there, frozen, a permanent granite display in its dismal garden of statues.

“So, uh… How long am I supposed to remain an artwork rendered in stone?…” 🤣🤣🤣

Non refert pugnantis potentiat, gorgoni visus immobilitat. Translation: “It doesn't matter how powerful the fighter is, the sight of the gorgon immobilizes him.”

“And what’s that supposed to do?” asked the brutish bodybuilder, as the sorcerer brushed a small dab of red gorgon blood below his right eye. “Why, this will give you the hardest muscles in the whole world, just as you requested!” And, in mere seconds, the fool’s wish became true!

“Lucky for you, If I weren’t currently freezing in place to become a massively hard granite sculpture, I’d crush you for your insolence with my powerful stone hands. Lucky for you…”

“Hey there… You… yeah, you… Wanna touch a really hard veiny marble statue with lotsa chiseled muscles? I couldn’t do a thing to stop you if you did.”

A pair of misguided bodybuilders who didn’t QUITE fully consider the granted outcome of their wishes to have huge rock-hard muscles.

In stony regret, the chiseled jacked bodybuilder thought: Oh boy… wishing for the rock-hardest body in all the gym was just NOT a smart career move!

The muscular arm-wrestlers were promised the winner would NOT be turned into inanimate stone. But after five minutes, when it became clear that the contest was a draw - without a winner - it was only logical for both huge musclemen to be frozen into statues of living granite!

<I’ll never move a muscle, ever again> - thought the petrified bodybuilder silently to himself. <But think how FABULOUS I’ll look swole in stone… as a chiseled granite sculpture for all time!>

With a few final pops and crackles, his stone muscles distorting to fit the tight wall niche, the hapless prisoner froze, his granitic limbs and torso now cooled, becoming one piece with the long frieze of statues, a silent scream permanently glazed upon his rocky lips! 😱😱😱

“Yes, foolish trespasser! In mere seconds, you will know how it feels when your muscular physique permanently freezes into solid granite, to become just another part of my Stone Wall Of Petrified Prisoners!…”

The biggest bodybuilding lunk in the gym flexed through his routine and wished for his huge powerful muscles to become as hard as rock!… <tsk-tsk> Bad wish. Very bad wish.

“‘Tis unwise to trespass at night amid the Ruins” is a warning we give all travelers. But some fool seeking fame always ignores us. One can’t imagine the terror they encounter, freezing them on sight, leaving their flesh immobilized as cold granite to greet the light of dawn.

The warden sighed, “Sadly, upkeep on some inmates has failed. This one, partially embedded in The Wall, developed severe cracks in his thighs. After a few winters, expanding ice broke off his legs. Unable to be released for obvious reasons, he must remain immobilized as a statue.”

I told my excited muscle-hunk: having enormous rock-hard muscles will bring endless enjoyment! I didn’t quite tell him the joy was for everyone else: for him, he’d simply suffer the arousing torment of his flexed inanimate marble physique, frozen in its eternal statuesque pose.

“Why are you petrifying me? I’ve done nothing wrong!” “But of COURSE you have! You’re simply too delightfully muscular NOT to be frozen as a granite statue!”

The smiling Tex flexes in his posing routine: you’re shocked when he suddenly petrifies as white marble! His stubble like rough sandpaper; his jaw so angular, you can cut yourself on its crystalline edges! Now your prisoner, he can’t move to stop you worshipping his stone body!

Unable to break the bonds holding him all-too-close to the magic Petrification Wall, the struggling hero felt his body stiffening, his big thighs already carved blocks of immovable granite. His whole physique would soon grow cold, freezing solid into an inanimate stone sculpture!

The hunter smirked as he hauled his find stealthily out of the Zone. But the mass was laced with earthen magic; bravado morphed to terror as he stiffened in place, petrified into rough-hewn granite, imprisoned as a motionless statue for all time!
