playing l3 takes me back to the days id play dynamo and tell people dw ill swap if i throw but i was so good at the weapon that id never have to swap and people would be like “wow dynamo kinda cooks” except im not playing with anyone and i just say heh im so good to myself in the dark

lowkey i think in zones u run a beacon weapon (cds or vdapple maybe one of the other ones) then just dont run stealth jump with ur other weapons

i doubt ill be playing much comp stuff this patch but if i do ill probably play cds cause beacon seems to be stronger this patch and literally no ones gonna wanna play with an even worse l3 that doesnt special or paint as much 😭😭

we adjusted the fighting capabilities of l3 to make it so the bullets are faster so you can do 0 damage slightly faster into your 50 different terrible matchups but to account for this we also made your paint worse so you cant paint a line for you to swim through during a fight so now you get stuck

something thats really been annoying me about the reaction to this patch is how dismissive comp players have been towards casuals opinions about the patch splatoon 3 has been kinda notoriously bad for casuals, many of my friends stopped playing when 3 came out because of things such as-

saying “they’re one” while playing l3 and they very clearly arent isnt me lying. i did hit 3 shots on them they just all did like 4 damage each and i genuinely think i deserve to live

idk why people are saying they arent touching cooler when they super buffed 2 of the cooler weapons (tri and dynamo) and h3 got a nothing buff

yknow im glad they at least disguised the 52 gal buff as a new mechanic in the game

splatoon 3 is a fun game cause you have a bunch of cool and interesting weapons and then 4 weapons that just do not play the same game that are also the best weapons in the game
