Crossing paths with a rock legend like Robert Plant is a privilege. An inimitable voice that transports you years back in time inevitably evokes the era of the great Led Zeppelin.

August 2005, la route du rock festival, Saint Malo. The Cure are headlining the festival. I have Robert Smith in my viewfinder. One shot.

“We are Motörhead and we are the loudest band in the world.” A torrent of decibels falls on the audience. Motörhead was more than a band. They were a myth, a rock’n roll legend.

I was in the photographers’ pit, singing Roxane at the top of my lungs. And between two choruses, I was taking pictures. I think I spent as much time singing as taking pictures.

This photo of Alex Turner, shot at an Arctic Monkeys concert in 2014, is in my top 10 favorite photos. Firstly because it represents an unforgettable concert, and secondly because it sums up my attachment to rock music.
