Tuxlith Chapel in Milland, West Sussex is a curious medieval gem that fell into ruins following the construction of a large Victorian church in the village in the late 19th century. 1/9

Following its closure in 2016, St Michael's, Castlemartin in Pembrokeshire became the 50th church to come into our care. Join us this September for a working party at Castlemartin, where participants will have the opportunity to engage with traditional crafts skills led by an expert team. 1/6

Designed and painted by John Coates Carter, the reredos at St Eloi's, Llandeloy in Pembrokeshire is an Arts and Crafts triumph. 1/7

Medieval churches are often adorned with decorative carvings, which are almost always imbued with layers of symbolism. This is certainly the case at St Twrog’s, Bodwrog, where the main south doorway features three particularly curious carvings. 1/8
