Not having claws is interesting too. Suddenly, it's a bit easier grabbing onto something without an accidental clawtip ripping it up.

Silly video game idea. A party of characters go out to defeat a evil witch who has little imp minions. Depending on difficulty, she has a spell she winds up to cast with less rounds for harder modes. Attacking interrupts her. If she is able to cast it, one of the characters swaps bodies with an imp.

I think one of the most interesting aspects of body swapping is the social aspect. A radically different appearance means that friends and family don't recognize you, and you have to start learning about total strangers instead.

So far I think silk feels better? Seems to at least for now. But I'll see tomorrow morning how it all goes. And I also get to hang out with a new friend I made while I was out.

Well, this is the day. I know it's such a small thing, but doing something new in a new body? I think it's a bit nerve wracking, but also something to look forward to? It's hard to explain it.

Well, managed to set up an appointment at the salon tomorrow. Though they were asking about other things too, like what styling? It sounds like some things I need to research.

Having hair is always nice, though. I do like that it has curls though. I just have to take the time to maintain it right.

Today was... interesting. I was in line for coffee and a deer in line winked at me. I think he really liked my outfit.

The problem of writing a twine CYOA revolving around possible body swaps is the heaven, yet hell, of making sure everything is properly coded. Heaven, in that you can write various passages that do explore other ideas. Hell in that if you bork up code, then the illusion is ruined.

What I do like for body swap stories to contain is a semblance of 'consequences'. Things most don't tend to consider. For instance, suddenly not having a place to stay and renting out a hotel room, or having to change your diet cause your new body has certain species diet requirements.

Been busy with life stuff, unfortunately. Man oh man, I need to get back to posting here.

I still Magehunter from Fighting Fantasy, where you track down a mage. In the process the mage steals your body and every so often you swap bodies with your npc ally depending on certain criteria.

Personally it's a struggle for me to upload commission stuff. I've put it off for, I think, 3 years now? Just stopping and letting all my commissions build up in storage. I really should just post them and get them in public view.

Another new idea. Your main character in a video game has companions, and you all end up captured in an area. When your character wakes up, the leader of the group who captured you has a game for you. One by one your companions come in to say something about their back stories.

Totally unrelated, but I doubt anyone out there would want to swap bodies with a male feline anytime soon. After all, who would want an anthro cat's body anyways?

Someday I want a video game where your party fights a boss who has an entourage. If the enemies aren't downed fast enough, the boss uses a skill to force a party member to swap bodies with one of their underlings. If everyone is swapped, then you go to down an alt route.

What is fun in a tabletop game setting is that, when a body swap DOES happen, it causes you to play different. Physical stats change, hp changes, and any racial stuff also changes. Most pcs have better stats then enemies, so if a enemy pulls off a body swap, it can give them a huge advantage.

For one of the d&d backstories I ran with Frank, he was basically a wandering spy who joined up with the group to get into otherwise well guarded places. After all, he's just a harmless kitty cat.

The more recent escapades for Frank did involve a sort of Lovecraftian inspired D&D game I got involved in. Plenty of fun to be had when you're investigating occult cults and trying to stop the end of the world.

Basic gist is that Frank is built off of the Tabaxi from D&D. I made him several years ago for a campaign that ran a decent while. I sometimes pick him back up again if I feel like he'll be fun in another story. He's set around twenty years of age and usually built with being a monk or warlock.
