this is my third lens ever but wow does it feel interesting. it is heavuier, but it feels more balanced than the 75-300, and the USM motor has very little torque as it actuates. also the IS and motors make little chirps as it operates and this is like so cool ive never had something like this

I picked up my new (used) lens :) and toobs yay

cranked the iso way high and stared at the night; it kinda surprises me even in an urban, light polluted environ the amount of stars i cant see myself with the naked eye. but surely enough, theyre just. there. i just wanted to capture the clouds.

objectively speaking, this photos are not good. subjectively speaking, the light purple and soft yet defined back light of the 4 am lightning made me wish to actually had set up and get out there for it ive been yearning for another dry thunderstorm since

this was from August I think? and phone picture, did a short hike on a short mount with an amazing view at the top

i hope youre cool with bug and critter images because when i find the golden silkweaver images youre gonna see. and also i like those a lot for subjects

this are from 10 years ago but i like them a lot. i dont have the RAW files because i didnt shoot RAW back then :(

i forgot what plant this was but the variety of greens allured me so. its very small

also if u ask me anything about the pictures/slapping the metadata in the alt i will try to (altho insofar most of this pictures are touched up RAWs, if only minimally)
