ICYMI, the release date for the Bedrock version of #BiomesOPlenty has been announced! It will be releasing on the Minecraft Marketplace on February 3rd, 2026, at a price of 1340 Minecoins.

Gotta say, Black Ops 7 Zombies is way better than I was expecting. I checked out pretty early on with BO6 Zombies cause it didn't really feel interesting to me (Terminus was decent though), but this game and the first map (Ashes of the Damned) have been more fun than anything they've done since BO3.

Vibrant Visuals in Minecraft is really great in the Overworld, but it's very disappointing in the Nether. I feel like they could've at least had global lighting cast upward to symbolize light coming from the lava lakes or whatever, which would [probably] look better than no shadows at all.

Finished DK Bananza. I think compared to Mario Odyssey, the core gameplay loop is more engaging and satisfying despite still having easy collectibles, cause constantly smashing through terrain/enemies makes it feel more rewarding. Odyssey definitely had WAY better side/post-game challenges though.

Finally got around to playing Echoes of Wisdom, and it was pretty great...But I feel like it has the same problem that all the 2D Zelda games have, in that the dungeons just aren't very interesting, especially in comparison to how fun the overworld gameplay is.

I'm really enjoying Mario Kart World so far (Especially just chilling in Free Roam), but items DEFINITELY need rebalanced for multiplayer. Sandbagging is way too effective, golden mushrooms/super horns are way too common, some items feel more "lethal" than they should (And vice versa), etc.

It’s time

Genuinely probably the hardest thing I've ever grinded for in a video game. The skin isn't even good, but I'm determined to own every cosmetic for Juno, even if it meant enduring the horrible matchmaking and 20 minute queue times of Stadium.

Never watched a medical drama before, but the first season of The Pitt was very good and entertaining all the way through. Great cast/characters, great pacing, etc. The Pittsburgh "fanservice" was pretty basic though, and it'd be awesome if it was expanded upon in the next season.

Minecraft movie was decent. It wasn't as kiddie as I was expecting, but it also didn't feel as full of fanservice as I was expecting (Like how the Mario movie had a ton of references and easter eggs for diehard fans). I guess overall it was a little too straightforward?, but still enjoyable enough.

Holy fuck Nintendo cooked so unbelievably hard. Launching in 2 MONTHS?!, Mario Kart World which looks incredible, GAMECUBE GAMES!!, NEW DK 3D PLATFORMER!!!!!, BotW/TotK upgrades, and new Kirby Air Ride is cool too I guess lol

Did an interview a while back about BOP for the World of Minecraft book (www.amazon.com/dp/0593722493), and wasn't sure if it'd actually end up in the final version, but I bought a copy for the heck of it, and it is! I'm really honored to be included in such a gorgeous book about Minecraft's legacy

I've been playing a lot of vanilla Minecraft on a server for the past week or so, and honestly, it's kinda put me in a weird mindset regarding modding. When I started out modding, vanilla was nothing like it is today. World gen felt very bland, features you'd expect just weren't there, etc.

...I only JUST found out that AGDQ was in Pittsburgh this year AND last year. I haven't been into speedrunning for years, but damn that's cool as hell. Might have to go down for a day or something if it's here again next year.

This week I've been discovering/playing a lot of arcade games I've never heard of before, and one of my new favorites is Snacks'n Jaxson. Weird game with the kind of weird aesthetic I love, and the gameplay isn't half bad either (Although I imagine it'd play better with a trackball like intended).

Really wish there was an interactive exploration game along the lines of Paradise Marsh, Lil Gator Game, and so on, but that lasted more than 2-3 hours...These games are absolutely fantastic, but they all just leave me wanting MORE of their lively worlds and beautiful art/sound design.
