Exciting times - a brand new Thermo Fisher Scientific Apreo Chemisem scanning electron microscope, equipped with EDX and EBSD, is being commissioned for us at UBC - with support from Systems for Research. This instrument will enable us to develop highly automated materials characterization methods.
