Here's a big ol stack of games I swear I will totally get too. I took this before Starting Dragon Quest so look at that, already making progress!

Today is the day! Finally Starting Dragon Quest VII Reimagined after putting it off for what feels like weeks... And might have been weeks, time has escaped my senses.

When I can get an actual competent team in Overwatch, I actually really like how Domina plays. Not sure if she will be a new tank in rotation... Given how I usually end up on Kiriko or Juno solo healing, but I definitely want to play it out further.

Legit question. Has anybody gotten God of War: Sons of Sparta and played it? And if so what are the thoughts on it? I saw David Jaffe did not like it but I feel like this game was stealth announced and released off a cliff cause I have not heard a single thing since.

I am so excited for Silent Hill Townfall. I was already confident I would be interested, but they really sold me during the Silent Hill Transmission. I mean, yesterday was pretty much just Konami is back: the movie.

I pretty much love everything Annapurna touches, and Konami has been on an absolute roll with Silent Hill, which is why it should be of zero suprise Silent Hill Townfall shot straight up on my most anticipated games. This looks so friggin' good!

Cannot wait for Kena: Scars of Kosmora. The first title in the series was insanely good.

I didnt expect Highguard to be long for this world but the time frame you need to achieve success in is fucking wild. Like three weeks, thats insane. Absolutely insane. And success here has to be an absurd bar to clear. What even is the point at that point?

Pretty much everything I was hoping Romeo Is A Dead Man would be, flaws and all. If you are familiar with Suda 51 and Grasshopper you will have a good time.

I have no stake in this but reminder, Yakuza 3 was heavily criticized upon release, and in the west ACTUALLY DID need to be fixed once before, so this 'fixing a game that wasn't broken' thing seems like a dubious claim at best.

My Dragon Quest VII Reimagined and Nioh 3 have finally arrived! The bummer is I just got two review codes that take precedence so I guess Nioh 3 will be on my back burner for a bit. Bummer but not the worst bummer.

Well I was pretty much dead today so I could finish platinuming Code Vein II... Which I have now done... If anybody needs me Im alive again.

Still surprisingly into what I saw with Horizon Hunters Gathering; it looks pretty fun, and the art style is cute. I honestly need a new multiplayer game to play... I am so bored with the ones in my rotation.

I was very happy with the Nintendo Partner Showcase but I usually am. Honestly if all the announcements Kyoto Xanadu and Parnormasight caught me the most off guard so I am very excited for those. Orbital looks so good though, same with The Adventures of Elliot.

Not gonna lie, I kind of like it. Horizon Hunters Gathering has this like super adorkable look, and the gameplay doesn't look like it takes itself too seriously, which should be fun.

Paranormasight is one of those great Square Enix-published titles that might have slipped under countless radars. If you saw the announcement for the new game and are thinking you want to play the first one before that, it is 75% off on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android right now.

I'm glad it's running well as gameplay experience is arguably more important than everything else. This just feels like a... Weird take... Given how much Resident Evil Requiem was noticeably downgraded in the visuals department to run on Switch 2. Good read, though.

Pretty happy Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming so soon, along with the other Square Enix titles like The Adventures of Elliot which has a date finally. Orbitals looks excellent, though, both in art style and in gameplay so I really cannot wait for that.

I'm curious to see if The Duskbloods gets showcased, since I would like more information on it. I'm more interested, though, in the announcements I don't see coming, which should hopefully give us a depth of just how much more third-party support for the Nintendo Switch 2 is going to receive.

I still play a lot of Overwatch because I am too lazy to learn another multiplayer game. It does seem like they are adding a lot though its super annoying trying to figure out one hero when they drop so five feels... ugh... Excited to try it out though, see if it feels like the right direction.

I remember playing Yoshi, but I think I was like 5 and sucked at it. Might be time to give it another go. I feel like I played Balloon Kid too... But I also feel the concept has been reused a ton, so perhaps I played one of those. Either way, both should be worth the trip through gaming history.

I never got to review it at the time but this is depressing given how good an RPG The Outer Worlds 2 was. Such a fun game that felt like it was both classic and new which was really cool.

Playing Code Vein II in bed while watching Kenan and Kel. The fuck am I doing with my life?

One of the things I love in Code Vein II is that the game map reticle has a line leading back to your character on it. I feel like there are other games that could benefit from it more given how big... and beige... game maps keep getting. So easy to get lost so I really like touches like this.

Just sitting here thinking about how much I cant wait for Nioh 3.

Nioh 3 is pretty much all I want right now. Not surprisingly, they don't have full exclusivity, and Koei Tecmo is excellent at porting titles to every platform that they can. Will definitely buy Nioh 3 again on the Nintendo Switch 2 if it makes the jump.

Of all the Review Keys we couldn't get for PixelByte (and there were a lot of good ones) I regret not being able to secure one for Code Violet. Mainly because I was litterally never going to buy it, I have been saying for months it would be bad. Sometimes you just want to watch a train wreck.

I can get obsessed with a good photo mode and Code Vein II has a really good one, especially for an anime game. So many of them have like five options but Bandai Namco honestly always delivers in this regard.

Bandai Namco, while lacking in some regards technically, has built an insanely good character creator. Both Code Vein and God Eater 3 showcased great improvements over those before. It was a bummer Scarlet Nexus had none but Code Vein II showcases the same forward momentum in Anime customization.

What's crazy to me is just HOW similar Code Vein II and Nioh 3 are. They are both time travel souls-likes that are open world takes on their more linear titles. And they release within about a week of each other, just crazy. Nioh 3 felt way better but I do like Code Vein's locals thus far.

My copy Code Vein II finally arrived! Two hours later it is finally installed and my character is finally created! Lets Code some Veins or... Whatever... you do in this game.

I was going to climb the Cairn mountain, then I accidentally licked a toad when trying to get a drink of water and got high... Not really sure what the plan is now. Do the Rusted Roots exist in the world of Cairn?

Ok, giving Cairn another try and... Finding I emotionally relate to a lot of it offerings more than I was willing to give credit too. Still have issues but there are some beautiful visuals. Life is a mountain and I really want to know what the top feels like, even for a fleeting moment.

Beat the Nioh 3 demo and there is STILL some stuff you can do. Such a long demo with a lot in there. Least Im getting a random boon in there. Cannot wait for the full release!

Just laying up tonight, remembering that one time somebody tried to tell me Dragon Age: Veilguard had no option to play as a woman because they removed breast size options (which they didn't even do). Good Times...

Final Fantasy VII Remake on the Switch 2 is just a mind blowingly good port. So fucking good.
