Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and Pathologic 1 were all cozy to me without any of them being Cozy Games™️. "Cozy Games™️ vibes" have often been co-opted by grifting types and it makes for an unsavory label.

Got a pretty succinct way to describe my perspective on Dark Souls 2 & Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls 2 added Dark as a proper element, with its own weapon buffing item in "Dark Pine Resin." Dark Souls 3 changed "Dark Pine Resin" into "Human Pine Resin," which gives it much more character and presence.

Learning Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) has been buckwild. I've known for years that NA PF dogmatically adheres to singular strats that force debuffs or make it easier for some players at the cost of more difficulty for others, but this is a case where the PF strat is Riskier AND forces melee downtime.

Defeating all Dark Souls 1 bosses in a single try except for four so far and the disparity between them is funny because the ones i haven't managed to one-shot are Moonlight Butterfly, Stray Demon, Ornstein & Smough, and Four Kings which all took two tries.

Warframe keeps all of its additions relevant as every item has some value, and allows player trading so there is less friction with being required to grind out activities that a given player doesn't enjoy. WF also has "multi-track grinding" whereas D2 rarely lets you multi-task to the same degree.
