Jayde is not a revenge person. She has a few moments where she feels petty and lashes out, but she always feels bad. She would only attempt murder on impulse while extremely upset & sleep deprived. Even then, she regrets it immediately, and it haunts her. A bit too nice, if you ask me. 😅

it's okay if you can't believe people when they say "it gets better" but "gets better" comes in many forms. you have to acknowledge the wins as they happen - the way out of a spiral is to start working your way backwards

A local lgbt advocacy group is hosting in-person NaNoWriMo writing groups every weekend this month, and I’d like to go, but my (mostly dead) laptop is being a little bitch, and there’s not much point in going if I can’t get it to open Scrivener 🥲

Themes, sure. Settings…no? I consider WIPs related to Sidetracked (Ice POV, James POV prequel, genderswap, etc) the same base story. I might eventually write other stories set in the same world, but I haven’t planned any yet. My other WIPs are all set in different alternate worlds. #LateNightWrite

I tend to focus on one WIP at a time, but it’s not exclusive. Right now, drafting Sunrise is my priority, but I also proofread on my phone during nap time at work since I can start/stop very easily. Past that, I have 2 partially drafted WIPs & a few loosely planned future projects. #LateNightWrite

I used to work in the same parking lot as a McDonalds. With the app, I could get a happy meal (burger, fries, & drink) for just $3.15. Besides leftover, ramen, or cheap deli meat sandwiches with water (which I find demoralizing to eat every single day), there wasn’t really a cheaper option.

I was allowed to read whatever. If it was in my school library or free online, it was fair game. I read some weird fanfic & original fiction. Most extreme book I read from my school library was probably House by Frank Peretti & Ted Dekker. Did not expect it to be Christian horror. lol #Bookvember

I’m doing well so far! I wrote about 3,000 words this first week (not counting today, since I don’t write until evening). Still not sure I’ll manage to keep the first draft under 50k words, but we’ll see. 😅 #FirstDraftFall

I like setting daily word count goals, but I rarely *push* myself with them. Mine is just 200 words on weekdays & 400 words on weekends (plus Friday). Realistically, if I try,I can write 400 words in under an hour. It’s just something to encourage me to keep going a little every day. #PretendPanel

I want to try the cursed baja blast pie, but my local Taco Bell doesn’t seem to have it :’)
