Admittedly I feel very rusty digital painting these days because I've been leaning hard into traditional, but its not as off putting for me as drawing/sketching digital so it feels okay. I'm thinking of getting an ultrasonic cleaner for my model kits when i start preparing them for priming and such. Any recommendations?

I kind of feel bad for people I know on Windows because i used to be able to help them with issues they're having, but I can't with a lot of things anymore. It isn't because I don't want to help either, but rather the problems are so new and weird that its well after I stopped using Windows.

Never heard of Arc Raiders until the past couple days. I liked the logo so I looked into it and that's gonna be a big nope from me. The "AI" aspect of the studio is already kinda iffy, but their motivation(to make games and updates faster than others) as a way to distinguish themselves is a red flag

Anytime I see a "if you see this post do X or Y will happen to you" it instantly registers in my brain as "if you see this post, block me for a better world". Especially since many of them are some weird ass bad energy chain letter-esque posts.

Its about god damn time, jfc! One of the few times I visited the forums was to rail against the restriction and glad its finally being addressed.

I cant do much this year for Halloween as I'd like to for mostly medical reasons(boo...). So I'm spending the evening after I finish work to rest, bake a pumpkin pie, maybe make some art, and build out this model kit I got awhile ago and held out on building specifically for today.

This model kit is kinda funny to me because half the kit is basically Mikus' hair lol The hair looks good but going to have to plan a bit on how to prime and paint it. Don't think I can do it all as one solid piece because of how much cross over from the ends there are. #ModelKits

My model paints arrived sooner than expected so I will take that as a sign that I am on the right path. I need to build the kits first though...but more updates and details will come on Monday.

Think I will stop suggesting Affinity. I haven't used it for long enough I was not aware of the Canvas buyout, but I wasn't too happy with the development(or lack of) of V2 either. So with it being suddenly suspiciously free me personally not a fan of software trying to do too many things...NOPE.

Vinegar goes pretty well in hummus. Especially great if you're using it in a cucumber sandwich.

Core tasks left to do for my website before I go more into making graphic assets: - Manipulating tags to act as albums for art. - Fix image responsiveness for small blog. - Dedicated RSS feeds strictly for comic(s). - Gather up links to other friends and colleagues websites to make a button "wall"

I am torn about whether I want to reset my island in animal crossing again when 3.0 releases or just keep going since I just restarted my island a couple months ago. Love a lot of what was shown and looking forward to the update. I can see the Dream(sandbox) islands being a lot of fun too.

The kits I'm planning to build next. Not a lot of skin to paint which is a little easier to start with, but the other main goal with these is to improve on seam/gap removal and chiseling a bit to emphasize details. Only removed seams on a more humanoid kit once so I want to try more. #ModelKits

I may have fucked up this model kit because I got too ambitious, but that's the point. Like doing art(or anything that requires "practice"), we learn and improve from mistakes and fuck ups.
