Idk if the cut of the video shows the whole thing, but this is my first climbing video since my thumb injury 10 weeks ago This one was a lot of fun without too much strain on my thumb. Always grateful for good route setters!

This week’s self-care (and every week): after signing myself up for way too much stuff on weeknights, some friends and I have a standing commitment one night a week to just eat dinner together and watch tv. I love being able to say “I’m busy that night” but it’s just protected time to chill.

Not weird but I did yoga this week for the first time since fracturing my thumb!

Countries stayed in but not represented: Canada, Morocco, Mexico, New Zealand, Pakistan

That’s a wrap for 2025. On a personal level, it was a good year and soooo much better than 2024. Obviously on a broader level it has been a dumpster fire, and that’s just rolling right on into 2026. 🙄
