I find solace in creativity, but distress and sadness have often blocked me out from it. I realize I can tap into those feelings to create, even when I’m in a good state, but part of me gets comfortable in the lack of it. I know those feelings are only fleeting though.

The less that I felt, the less that I cared, the less that I was, the more that I yearned for it. I had a vision of life without me, I couldn’t believe, and now I am glad that I searched for it. I found a life better than I could dream, and I can’t believe, that I almost gave up the search for it.

Looking at stuff from your past makes me wish I could’ve been there, but I’m so glad that we’ve found each other now. I know previous versions of us wouldn’t have meshed, we had to go through what we went through to get to ourselves today, and I’m so glad that we’ve found each other. #sappy

Increasing funding has always seemed like the government’s “easy way out” solution to avoid taking accountability. There are deeper issues that run root in many of these organizations, transparency is essential and an audit like this would help bring some more of it.

#Creativity is a lifeline that taps me into something so much more than myself. “I don’t nearly give myself enough time for it” is what my brain tells me, but the reality is I can find time, it’s just a matter of prioritizing it in my life. Even 30 minutes a day is better than nothing.
