Hallelujah after nearly a week of not being able to play I can finally launch the game. Can’t play it in online mode for some reason but at least I can launch it. 🙌🙌

I still can’t launch the EA App 😭 I tested it last night around midnight UK time after coming home from work & I was able to launch the game fine, but as it was too late I turned it off looking forward to play today. However today it’s not launching again. Tried multiple times throughout the day 😢

I’m still not able to launch the EA app to play The Sims. So I downloaded Disco Elysium instead and so far enjoying it very much!!

Reminder that the Middle East version of the sims 2 couldn’t show women on the cover which made it look even more gay than it is 💅

And I adore this new bar set, as a historical simmer not many ingame bars seem timeless (too many modern objects attached to them or inbuilt led lighting). This looks sooo good!!

My game is back to not being able to launch the EA App. Done all the restarts, repairs, reinstalls, firewall etc steps the internet suggests. It’s just a blank screen when trying to launch the app & then I get a 1005 network error after a while of loading. My internet is working fine everywhere else

Yaaaaaaassss they confirmed we can spawn butterflies in other worlds by placing the spawners from build but catalogue!!!

Strange…. Because they literally have at least 3 mini fridges in this screenshot from the latest trailer. Be odd thing to add this feature….

Today’s building in the sims 4 will be to recreate Prescott Farm located just north of Newport Rhode Island. Probably have it as a community garden lot type. Really hope we are able to place butterfly spawners from the new pack so I can catch them on this lot.

Soooo this is the status so far…… very slowly trying to get a layout correct. I built a version of the Old State House from Newport. From the independence to early 1900’s the Rhode Island State legislature held sessions there. I’m trying to use as much inspiration as possible from real life.

I made my first custom career as I needed something fitting for my Wild West mining town ✌️ Any other career paid too much & were too short hours. So now my sims can work for 12 hours, 6 days a week - whilst earning little pay & no chance of promotion. (I promise I’m not an evil capitalist irl) 😅😬

My toxic trait is that I firmly think I can fit in a library, cafe, museum, grocery store, bakery, clothes store, townhall, theatre, bar, tram station, offices, park and jewellery store all in their own individual buildings into those 3 lots. 😂😂

The next task in my Brindleton bay savefile is take this WIP 64x64 (that was replaced with my Breakers Mansion) and split it over these 3 lots and make it a busy downtown area with tram lines and various business and community lots.
