Phew, stressful situation yesterday though when that accident happened. I was made aware of it when I was already in Offenburg and when people had already boarded my train back to Strasbourg. I was then told via phone that my train needs to be cancelled since the route is closed,

That’s it, I brought the accident train back to the depot and exchanged the damaged unit. My service is now over and I’m off to two weeks of vacation ~

Oh well, it ended sooner than I expected, I parked the train and shut it down, the route between Appenweier and Kehl is closed, my colleague who crossed me hit a person on the tracks right behind me. I will probably get a taxi to his train now and take the three old diesel back.

And I’m doing Offenburg - Strasbourg again on this hot Saturday. A TGV was cancelled and they sent all the passengers from Germany to France to me, no problem with this train ~ This is my last service before I head into two weeks of vacation x3

And now driving the old diesel. Three of them, enough space, but two of them have no working AC, it’s hell 🥵🔥 All windows open, not helping much though

Another extremely hot day, I’m driving Offenburg - Strasbourg again, but all cool with these trains ~ Extremely busy though, it’s Friday ~

I‘m driving Offenburg - Strasbourg again today, but something is and feels very different today ~

And back in Strasbourg for the first time after a while. Since Monday we are driving through to Strasbourg again, I had the past two days off ~ But yeah, yet still with the old diesel trains, they cleaned and fixed the motor cooling on them in the past days they were not driving.

Driving the Offenburg-Strasbourg line on this hot Saturday, but as announced with the Mireo trains only until Kehl, from there passengers need to take a bus from SNCF to Strasbourg. Monday they want to resume the service to Strasbourg on one circulation with 3 of the old diesel trains.

Doing the Horn(y)berg shuttle again on this hot day, but no problem with our new and modern Mireo trains, AC is working and keeps the temperature inside at 26 degrees Celsius ~ Tomorrow I now took over a Strasbourg service, but only driving until Kehl with the cool Mireo trains👍🏻

Here we go, no traffic from us to Strasbourg until Monday, until Monday we only ride between Offenburg and Kehl with Mireo trains. Only SNCF will ride trains between Offenburg and Strasbourg until Monday. The heat has put all of our old diesel trains out of service today.

I aborted my Offenburg - Strasbourg service today right after the first train due to health problems due to the heat inside these old diesel train cabs and went home 🥵 Didn't even make it to finish the first train from Offenburg to Strasbourg because right after the departure in

I‘m driving Offenburg - Strasbourg again, now one of my last shifts on this line, because I quit. Yes, I quit today from driving internationally. From July on I’ll do Germany only. Less money for me, but I will not go through a hell of a summer with these old trains again, nope.

So today I was told that we are definitely not going to use the new Régiolis trains between Offenburg and Strasbourg starting this Sunday or anytime soon in the near future… BaWü and Région Grand-Est can not come to an financial agreement, so we have to go on with the old diesel.

After doing three days of Offenburg - Strasbourg services I’m doing a German service today, tomorrow one day off ~

Was just asked if I could check out one of our German trains before I drive to Strasbourg, apparently the train protection is not working. Yup, can confirm, none of them is working, even after a hard reset 😅 Sent it to the workshop ~ Now doing Offenburg - Strasbourg again.

Doing Offenburg - Strasbourg again today ~ Actually I had a German service today, but a SNCF certified driver called in sick, so I was asked to take over his service. So far so chill though, shitty weather, not too many passengers. One of four engines not working on this one though.

And another beautiful day, doing a German service again today, then two days off ~ Actually I was supposed to have a trainee with me today, but when I started my service I was told the trainee asked for a different service with another driver 🤷🏻‍♂️Oh well, not that I mind, silence ~

And I’m doing my last Offenburg - Strasbourg service today, tomorrow and Tuesday I’ll do German services ~ First train from Offenburg to Strasbourg was full to the brim again, nobody left behind though 👍🏻 Had a police incident in my train in Kehl though, passengers called police ->

Yesterday while I was in Strasbourg a passenger comes up and complains at me why we only drive with two units and why we don’t couple up a third, I explained that we only have 5 in total and that one is in the workshop and I said I’m not responsible for that. Then he says I’m ->

Good evening from the empty Strasbourg station, I’m the last train ~ To my surprise I didn’t leave any people behind today, only my colleague had one train where he left a couple people in Offenburg and around 100 people in Appenweier behind. But I got everyone with me today ~

Phew, yet my shift was without leaving anyone behind, but now the last train of my service from Offenburg to Strasbourg was so full that I had to leave behind: - 60 people in Offenburg - 40 people in Appenweier - 10 people in Legelshurst Weekend is gonna be interesting ~

And I’m driving again, already had to replace one of the trains right to the beginning of my shift due to an engine failure. First train from Offenburg to Strasbourg was full to the brim, traffic jam on the platform 25 in Strasbourg, but no left behind passengers yet, all squeezed in somehow.

And after the free weekend I’m back at work, German service it is today ~

Ah, Sunday, everything is done, no work today, good weather. Time to put my paws up, have a good drink and just relax ~ Next two weekends I’ll have to work again, one of them going to be a Offenburg - Strasbourg hell again with perfect warm weather announced and old diesel trains 🫠

So I got "news" again about us also finally using the Régiolis trains on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line. I was told the financial negotiations between SNCF, SWEG, Baden - Württemberg and Region Grand-Est are still going, but apparently finally towards the finish line... I was ->

Doing my German service today with the new and modern electric trains, not bothering with overcrowding and leaving people behind for once xD After that free weekend and Monday another German service, back to Strasbourg on Tuesday ~

I‘m driving the Offenburg - Strasbourg line again on this rainy holiday. On my first service from Offenburg to Strasbourg I left behind: - 70 people, 10 cyclists and 3 wheelchairs in Offenburg - 150 !!! people and 5 cyclists in Appenweier - 3 people in Legelshurst ->

And back at work after four days off and heart trouble. I’m fine again and doing well :) But yeah, still driving the old, stinky and small diesel trains on this line, still no new information about when we are also finally going to use the new ones. Nobody can or wants to answer that question…

This was a night to forget, really didn’t need that. 7 1/2 hours in hospital because my heart decided to be a bitch again, atrial fibrillation at the age of 33, **** my life 🥲 I got stabilized though, back home now, will have to do a long term ECG asap though. Great crew though!

Since I have four days off now, I thought I use today to dig out all the things I got and collected by visiting furry conventions and events in the past nine years ( I started visiting furry events in 2017 ). Surely a couple of conbooks and a lot of badges and merch I gathered ^^

Nothing has changed, I’m doing my German service today ~ Well, trainee is driving, I’m just watching ^^

And I’m doing my usual route ~ Quite chill today though :) Tomorrow I’ll actually do a German service again, been a while. Tomorrow with a trainee though, so I won’t even be driving, just watching and then four days off before getting back to this route ^^ And yes, still diesel🛢️

Greetings from Strasbourg. Actually I was looking forward to take photos of me standing here with the new Régiolis TFA today, but since it’s not starting for us today, only for SNCF, well, here I am with my oldie. Left 7 passengers and 2 cyclists behind in Appenweier, full house.

I’m driving again, just finished my first train from Strasbourg to Offenburg, I left behind: - 70 people und 20 cyclists in Strasbourg - 60 people and 15 cyclists in Kehl - 10 people in Kork - 2 people in Legelshurst Needed police in Kehl to stop people from trying to board👌🏻

Been a while since I ordered sushi, so I ordered way too much 😅 Full vegetarian today though, but I didn’t make it all, so come and grab what’s left ^^

The long May weekend is going with beautiful weather, already more than 500 passengers were left behind on the platforms on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line, yet. A window in one of our old trains has been destroyed, train cannot be used anymore for now, so no replacement train -

So regarding to this there are news, again. Now they will start between Offenburg and Strasbourg on May 4, but only for the trains that are serviced by SNCF, so the old blue diesel trains provided by SNCF will be replaced on May 4. We will for now have to continue with our old diesel trains x.x

Today I finally got to do it, been driving the new international trains in Germany for the first time ever to complete my training, of course without passengers and then brought it back to Strasbourg. But nobody knows when they will start… I was told May 4 start is not happening :(

Another service on the Offenburg Strasbourg line today. Colleagues already left hundreds of passengers behind again today it’s extremely busy again. Train before me left around 20 passengers here in Strasbourg who are now already in my train. Let’s see how many I’ll leave behind

Smol train and chaos again… 2 of our 5 diesel trains for the SNCF network are so damaged that they can’t be used at the moment, so I have to ride with only one, extremely full of course 😵‍💫 Oh well but one has been repaired now and will be coupled later at least so I have 2 again.
