If politicians and their propagandists don't like being called Nazis and fascists, maybe they could stop doing & saying Nazi and fascist things, and refusing to condemn or disavow friends of theirs who admire Nazis and fascists and hang swastikas on the wall.

@andrewlseidel.bsky.social I appreciate the show a lot, though I wish the music was different. Perhaps "stolid, conscientious triumph" was intended, but I hear "patriotic ennui" and "resigned acceptance". It doesn't affect my activism or vote, but it's a wet sock when I need a spring in my step.

After weeks of chilly weather we got a 68F/20C reprieve, and it’s nice to enjoy the sunshine. I had plans today, but I’m thinking of scrapping them to just sit outside and soak it in. #sunsoutbunsout

I’ll be reentering the job market soon. First time in my legit career I will have just quit without a new job, but I refuse to “meet or exceed expectations of enthusiasm” from people younger than my career who talk to me like I’m a toddler with a traumatic head wound. This is work, not day care.
