A very satisfying salad. First meal since breakfast yesterday except dried fruit and nuts, not wanting to open the fridge, not knowing when power would be fixed and shops closed. APS had to bypass the transformer they broke, and atrach wires through neighbor's yard to us, so it is a temporary fix.

Whoa, I heard a big humming sound and saw a flash through the window and a smoke cloud! APS must have blown up part of the big transformer (which is basically in our front yard) but no one died and no fires thankfully! Still no power.

Our power went out this evening, but the LED candles are relaxing. APS is working to fix it, and the evening is cool enough to have the windows open. It is very quiet without a fan or music. I was in the making jewelry, but it'll have to wait. Sitting here with a glass of wine and a cat on my lap.
