oh my god right i highly recommend "Haru no Noroi" by Asuka Konishi!! it's hands down one of my most favorite mangas of all time

when it comes to death, it has to be a story about grief, right? but the problem with grief is that it is simply something that can not be shared with others

i think Tatsuki Fujimoto is a genius when it comes to writing about grief

which is also why the chapter where the last of the copycat brothers had a mental breakdown over the realization of what he's done is one of my favorites It's so simple and straightforward

one thing i adore most about CSM is the way it deals with death when a character dies in a story, others react, there's a slight pause just to talk about them but in CSM, that doesn't happen there is no glory in death there is nothing
