Asheville, here is your call to action for the next nationwide protests on June 14: No Clowns, No Kings! 1:30-3:30 in Pack Square Amphitheater, and this'll be a fun one - essentially an anti-Trump carnival! Family-friendly fun, a chance to raise money for a good cause, and let your voice be heard!

Go McDowell County!! Pride is a celebration, but it also started as, and remains, now more than ever, a protest!

Not sure if anyone is organizing for this in WNC specifically, but it's a statewide call to action and Tillis DOES have a field office in Hendersonville - would be great to see folks show up there this afternoon!

Tuesday 6/3 is the last chance (for this budget year...but we all know when things get cut, they don't usually come back) to show up for your public schools and turn up the pressure on the commissioners to make sure our kids, families, and educators get what they need!

If you want to hit rich politicians where it really hurts - their wallets - don't just boycott Tesla and Amazon! The Asheville Tourists are owned by the DeWines - as in, MAGA-supporting Ohio governor Mike DeWine, and Chuck Edwards owns McDonald's franchises in Hendersonville, Brevard, and Canton.

Black Mountain: Weekly protest EVERY MONDAY in the Town Square park from 5pm-5:45pm!

Haywood County: Weekly protests against what is happening to our government in front of the historic court house on Main Street in Waynesville, EVERY Friday at noon!

This weekend, the National Association of Letter Carriers (the labor union your mail carrier belongs to!) are planning rallies across the country to support their workers and the Post Office. Asheville: Pack Square, Sun 3/23, 12pm. Weaverville: outside the Weaverville Post Office, Sun 3/23, 12:30pm.

April 5th will be a NATIONWIDE DAY OF ACTION, and Asheville is of course on board! Come join us in Pack Square at 11am on Saturday, April 5th!
