Iam a big fan of the writer Michael. j Straczynski from his time on Spiderman and also the TV show Babylon 5. His run on captain American is on my list to get, this is the 3rd and final volume and picked it up due to it being on sale.

It’s a nintendo delivery day! The main draw is the 3rd hyrule warriors game. Made by the team behind dynasty warriors the game is set during the first war as hinted at in tears of the kingdom. We also have 2 of the 3 amiibo for metroid prime 4, no idea why these 2 release a month before the game

Nice little charity shop pick up, galaxy quest on Blu-ray £2. Really loved the film since seeing it in the cinema and been interested by the history and making of the film since. I would love see that original version with the swearing and risky jokes, even just that 1 F bomb

Picked up this Spiderman spinoff, chasm focuses on the two clones of peter parker. While the 90s clone saga is not great the characters have potential. It’s a shame that this comic falls back to plots of ben being controlled and manipulated. #Spiderman

Been on the fence for a long time but decided to finally import this zombie classic. He living dead at the manchester morgue is a European production shot in & around manchester. Its a great film with a few decent extras, now i have it iam sure its going to get a sexy UK release.

I challenged myself to get all the king kong films on Blu-ray and this is the final one. King kong lives is an 80s sequel to the 70s remake. I love the slipcover and artwork even if my expectations of the film are very low anyway

My copy of short sharp shocks volume 4 by the BFI has been delivered. A cool collection of horror based short films as well as a few interviews. The set is perfect for the this time of year, it’s nice put it with the other 3 but just have to wait for volume 5.

Todays delivery is one of the figureheads of the french extremity movement and now in 4K. Martyrs is film thats not clicked with me in the past but happy to try it again. This Eureka release has a good set of interviews and analysis on the disk. Can’t wait to get stuck in

👑🎃Well it’s been a while but my copy of the steel empire chronicle has finally arrived. It’s a collection of games in the side scrolling steampunk shooter series empire of steel. We have the megadrive, gameboy advance and HD versions and also over horizon included which is totally new to me.

Did i get it? Yeh, i got it. Picked up the latest and final mission: impossible. I have heard very mixed things about the film and if it sticks the landing with this part 2 and final film in the series. I am sure if i turn on motion smoothing that will help smooth things over.

I started to watch return to house on haunted hill, the film was so dull i fell asleep and missed half of it. I have no intention to watch what i missed. Anyone wanna tell me what happens? Make it up and i wont know any different

Todays delivery is a landmark TV drama about an icon. The naked civil servant is the story of Quentin crisp someone who was their authentic self at a time when that was hard. Great there are a few interviews & docs with crisp. I always look at picking up a network release, gone but not forgotten

Picked up this iconic film today. To kill a mockingbird is a great study on race and the justice system staring gregory peck. Iam a big fan of his & its one of his best roles. Looks like a great set of extras, iam always a fan of the documentaries, i think iam the few who dont like commentaries

With the actual UK release being a barebones OOP release i had to pick up the german release of house on haunted hill. It’s got the same extras as the scream factory release, the picture may not be the same but at a fraction of the cost i wont complain. Gotta look to get the OG.

Demo 38 Oct 1998 - this month’s disk brings us some spooky vibes. Medieval is the cover game, you play as a zombie knight stoping an evil wizard, the first level is iconic but its never clicked with me. Shocked that abes exodus wasn’t a cover game but not 1st party. Which would you play first?
