Picked up @88films.bsky.social release of the cat, a hong kong produced film from the director of the story of rikki. I have high expectations and whats even more interesting, apart from the Japanese cut if i put the disk in an American player i will get the uncut version as the uk is cut

221. Final destination: bloodlines - gore horror about a family cursed with death wanting to kill them. Its a silly OTT film, its maybe a little too knowing to the audience with its references and more but its in keeping with its series. Shame about the CGI but its modern films

tengai or sengoku blade as its known in japan is a side scrolling shmup with a story set in an almost fantasy steampunk Japan but we are not here for the story. The gameplay is solid work by psikyo and is for me on a par with gunbird. Both games are great but not super unique.

After owning them on dvd i decided to upgrade the heisei era godzilla films to bluray. They may get a release in the future but the main reason i got this set is the english dub thats included. Love or hate them I think for completion they should be included and recent release by criterion don’t

Iam currently watching resurrection by highlander director Russell mulcahy. It’s on tubi, i just shocked how bad the picture quality of the film is. Its got lots of grain and for a director that uses light and shaded as soon as there are dark colours its tough to watch

I love the persona games and i love music games, this endless night collection is prefect! It takes the the cool and funky soundtrack persona 3 and 5 have and turns them i to a rhythm games. The two games were released separately but this set put them together in a media book with character art.

Today i plugged a gap in my hammer Dracula series. I bought the brides of Dracula, the first sequel to the Christopher lee classic and to my memory the only one that doesn’t include Dracula or Lee, just depends if you include 7 golden vampires. Any fans of this bloody bride? #Dracula
