Other than the lens fiasco, the wedding was lovely and the only one I enjoyed attending. The husband is Turkish and they managed to combine Austrian and Turkish traditions and songs into the celebrations, the dog behaved perfectly and I even socialised a bit, and played with my great-nephews.

My contact lens split in two while wearing it and one half got missing and I spent all of the wedding in pain. Ha ha. I eventually found it but the eye was too irritated to recover (still in pain as writing this), plus being half blind.

Hard to believe everything is over that soon (apart from cleaning up duty today). A couple of people asked how it feels to make so much effort for a single performance and it does indeed feel odd to play one day instead of two weekends (i.e. 6 performances).
