What I find hilarious about transphobes who remember that trans men exist is them trying to scare us by citing the side effects of testosterone. I'd rather be a acne-riddled fat bald man than a woman. Even if all the side effects were to happen, I'd surely be happier than I am now.

Big news: Simba finally fought back and Philly wasn't happy about it.

I'm just so tired. Not because I'm not getting enough sleep (I'm used to that) but simply life. I haven't accomplished any of my goals this year. Not even started.

Someone repaired a part of my door and I'm irrationally annoyed about that.

You know, it's kind of shocking how well I'm doing today, despite having had a bad night. This is the first week in 3 months... maybe 4 that I don't have to work more hours than in my contract (in fact, I'm working one less), plus having had two days off in a row.

So satisfying to stop at the train station I have to get off for work but not leaving the train. I'd rather have theatre rehearsals every day and one work day than the other way round. Would just be as exhausting but way more fun (also more friendly people to deal with, which is nice).

Sunday at 6am in the train and of course I'm in the same space as a couple of teenagers playing fucking awful music too fucking loud. It's really a small miracle and an immense effort regarding my patience that I haven't murdered anyone yet.

Neighbour is fucking drumming again. I've just had a 39h week compressed into 4 days and it's after midnight and way after they're legally required to be silent. I hate, hate, hate living so close to people.

You know you must have been truly awful patients when everyone from the head of the ward to the cleaning staff is relieved when you're discharged, with one nurse even doing a little happy dance once you've left.

I wonder whether the lab exclusively hires tall women. Being taller than me is not that difficult but most of them tower over everyone else too.

My mum made me a blanket as a Christmas present (despite me not wanting anything) and it got finished today!

I'm so glad the boys only get special food - just saw a message that people are putting poisoned "samples" of pet food in post boxes... Fucking arseholes. Should be poisoned themselves in my opinion.

Update: No comments fortunately but it feels swollen (but isn't) and drinking out of a bottle causes pain. I'm a bit annoyed at the boy. He's lucky I miss him enough to forgive all his crimes once I'm home (still 4h to go).

Good news and bad news: Not just good but actually great: It was the second (And third! And fourth!) time Philly came onto my lap. He hadn't had breakfast yet and I assume it was because he was hungry (Maybe I should stop feeding him?)

Update: Tried a gel now and I think it might be working. Thing is... said gel is usually used to hydrate necrotic skin... Did my body die and forgot to tell me?

It's an absolute disgrace that I have to work until 6pm when the alternative would have been cuddling in bed with Philly.

Thing is, if the skin doesn't get better, I might have to switch jobs anyway. There's no way I can disinfect fewer times and while I love the work, I will not risk my health for it (not physical, bot mental). Besides, working in constant pain isn't that great either.

I don't want to work tomorrow, my skin is still worse for wear and I'm at the surgical ward which I don't like to begin with (nothing to do with personnel, they're okay but I like internal medicine and the respective wards much better).

How am I supposed to go to work again in maybe two days when my hands still look like this?!
