Bronwydd Arms Signal Box. It looks really nice it must be said. I think it's the only signal box on the line that I could see. Still in use today as we had a token exchange on the way back to Abergwili even though the whole line is single line working. (14/6/26)

Peckett 0-4-0ST No.1345 (1914) "Mond Nickel no.1 at the Gwili Railway. Looking very sorry for herself at the moment in a siding out of public view. Maroon red livery under the green and rust colours. (14/6/26)

2-6-2T no. 5521 or Small Prairie in London Transport livery at Bronwydd Arms shed at the Gwili Railway. This locomotive as been everywhere you name it. Even been to Poland as well. (14/6/26)

Peckett 0-6-0 Diesel no. 5014 "Aberthaw" at Llwyfan Cerrig. According to the website a full engineering assessment needs to be carried out on the locomotive. The only 0-6-0 Diesel engine Peckett and Sons built and the last to be manufactured by said company. (14/6/26)

0-6-0ST no. 3829 at Llwyfan Cerrig. Looking very sorry for itself as it's pending a return to service. A photo of me standing on said footplate of said locomotive however, missing some vital equipment before I could drive it anywhere 😅 (14/6/26)

Ruston 88DM 312433 "Abigail" at Llwyfan Cerrig. Looking a bit sorry for herself at the moment as it's under repair. Similar to the Ruston's we have at the Telford Steam Railway. (14/6/26)

Class 43056 at Llwyfan Cerrig. I Spoke to a man from the Railway who said the 43 has run in the past but now will become a museum piece in the new carriage shed where you can get a closer look. They are currently cosmeticly working on the nose at the moment. (14/6/26)

0-6-0ST 7849 "Moorbarrow" at Llwyfan Cerrig. We stopped here and got off to have a look around the yard and the shed. They also had a miniature train you could ride on as well. (14/6/26)

0-6-0ST 7849 "Moorbarrow" at Danycoed Halt running around it's train where we also encountered a line side fire unfortunately. Proceedings had to be stopped whilst the train crew had to put the fire out. We got going again eventually. (14/6/26)

The Gwili Railway in Wales. A nice Railway in the Carmarthen countryside following the river Gwili. Nice and friendly staff and plenty to see as well. 0-6-0ST 7849 "Moorbarrow" at Abergwili Junction. A nice little Steam engine. (14/6/26)

Tuesday 16th: We travelled back home. Here are some photos of Bay View house which we stayed in. A nice farm house looking over the sea.

Monday 15th: We looked around the lovely St Davids Cathedral in the morning and had a look at the lifeboat Station in the afternoon.

Sunday 14th: We rode and explored Gwili Railway in the morning and visited Pembrokeshire Castle in the afternoon. More from Gwili Railway after theses photos.

Saturday 13th: We walked from Newgale beach to Solva Bay over the coastal path with lovely views from the top. It was a lovely walk and very hot/sunny as well. Afterwards we got the bus back home. Had a meal in the evening at the Cambrian pub which was nice.

Here are some photos I'd like to share from my holiday in Penycwm Pembrokeshire. Friday 12th: Drove to Penycwm via Aberystwyth and enjoyed the sunset at Newgale beach. The sea views from my bedroom window were lovely to wake up to in the mornings.

Back at my happy place today. I spent the day cleaning out the BSO which involved removing paint, tools, equipment and rubbish so it's ready for a deep clean. I swept the floor so it looked clean. Won't be long before the BSO is in service.

Today I was volunteering at my happy place which involved tidying up the Freight set which was used at the weekend. All the wagons were removed off the track and items used such as ballast, bricks and sleepers were put back as well. I'm knackered now 😴

I had a good day volunteering at the Telford Steam Railway. This morning I cleaned/polished "Taffy" ready for the days service. Afternoon/tonight I Marshalled photographers around the track so they could take photos of different formations. I'm Guard tomorrow for the Gala.

The first of the next batch of ten Elizabeth Line trains is now complete and on test at Alstom Derby. It is due to be delivered to Old Oak on 15 June, expected to be hauled by a ROG Class 93. Work on 345072 is now well underway

Our guest steam locomotive for our first Narrow Gauge Steam Gala this weekend (at the Telford Steam Railway) is Alan Keef's 0-4-0 No. 30 Vertical Boiler "Taffy". Built in 1990. A lovely steam locomotive we have on our hands. Come and see her on the 6th and 7th of June 2026.

A new addition to Telford Steam Railway yesterday. Mk2 SO E5238 coach. Eventually it will be our first class dining car.

Today Lumo operated a pre-launch special from Stirling to Euston and back today using 222601 (ex EMR 222001). The first out and back passenger service starts on Monday, ramping up to the full timetable of five trains a day by late July

GBRF Class 66790 "Louise" working 6M84 (Bicester MoD GBRF - Donnington RFT GBRF) arriving at 15:09 however, didn't go into the terminal until 5pm because we had to look for a key for the security gate. 2 hours delay in the end unfortunately. (20/5/26) *Part 1
