I used to think “ugh, why do I have to look at this shit?! Can we not?” until I discovered queer cinema and realized “oh..so sex scenes can be awesome, it’s just heteronormativity that’s repulsive 🤔” I’m sure it can be applied to straight scenes too, but there’s just a *certain way* they are made 😒

I've got so many (screaming) thoughts on this but the top of the pile is wondering if there would be a different response if there was more diverse sexual representation.
