And now I learn that this was apparently caused by a school bus driver??!! So we can't have nice stuff because a school bus driver will wander hundreds of metres down an obvious pedestrian pathway before trying to drive under a low overhang while ignoring crunching sounds . . .

Canada's response, if Stellantis moves production, should be to end the practice of allowing automakers to purchase fuel economy credits to meet fleet fuel economy thresholds.

This is a good time for a reminder that the most dangerous residential building type in Canada with respect to fire deaths is one and two family homes. Not apartment buildings. And certainly not sprinklered apartment buildings like the one proposed here.
