All the protests, overpass bannering, poll place monitoring, social media posts, meme creation, and ICE patrols… it was all for nothing. Yesterday we took a gut punch from Dem leadership that we will never forget. What’s the motivation to keep trying?

We were so worried about prop 50 that the CA Dems organized mass poll monitoring to deter fraud. I participated but my polling place did not allow us to have chairs, so I stood there for 5 1/2 hours watching. No fraud on my watch. Glad for my effort to be rewarded with the prop passing.

I've replaced the "Vote Yes On Prop 50" sign in my garage window with the phone number for my local Rapid Response Network.

When the GOP tries to say the Dems are responsible for the shutdown, remind them that the majority party decides what bills come to the floor. Dems are happy to introduce a bill to end the shutdown if the GOP will let it come to the floor.

I live in CA and I have good news and bad news. The good news is Trump's goons have left the San Francisco Bay Area. The bad news is they're heading to Southern CA to intimidate during the Nov 4 election. After which I expect them to return to the SF Bay Area and pick up where they left off. 😞
