Another Daredevil cover, this time going all the way back to 2012. This was also traditionally painted, but I did some digital enhancements to the background colours.

I've done a number of DareDevil covers over the years, but this one is still my favourite. I think it was from 2018. This was when I was really getting into the stride with acrylic paints and the whole sculptural, weighty forms thing I'm still chasing.

This Wolverine commission (I call it the Matador variant!) is now a cover If it feels appropriate I tend to send these high level commissions to Marvel for potential use, but since they weren't commissioned for a particular purpose I never know where they might end up.

Since I posted the Extremis 01 cover yesterday, along with the ground punch cover which celebrated 20 years this year, they were probably the most important images which launched my career along with inspiring the MCU, etc. Here is what I would say is the most important image I ever did for the MCU.

2025 will mark both the 20th anniversary or Iron Man Extremis and my move to the UK. Both quite monumental events in my life. I painted this cover for Extremis 01 sometime in 2004, I think probably in the summer. I remember painting 02 during that year's Wizard World Chicago.

The Muscle Girl bar in Tokyo was really fun.

More pandering! Since Benedict Cumberbatch will also be at Tokyo Comic-Con I thought why not do a print of the only artwork I've done of him, back in the Sherlock days. I haven't done an ink piece like this in a long time, but looking back on this always makes me want to do more.

Since Josh Brolin will be at Tokyo Comic-con I thought to make this into a print as I will also be there on Saturday only. It's not beneath me to pander.

Snuck into Thought Bubble to meet my favourite cartoonist, Mr Lovenstein himself, JL Westover. I think my love for his work is well known by now, but he was also a super sweet guy. The rest of the con made me quite sad and I made a hasty exit and went for a burger.
