is there a way to fake hover events on iOS? Tried to go via HIDEvents like you'd fake a touch but it doesn't translate it to hover events...

Got Riveo working on mac catalyst. Not optimized at all but it runs. Even the camera works. Not sure yet if it will see the light of day but I'm positively surprised. Good job people at Apple! #maccatalyst #ios #iosdev

Kafka 2025: Trying to compile tensorflow for mac catalyst. -> tensorflow is compiled with bazel -> bazel doesn't support mac catalyst -> building bazel 6.5 from source -> to build bazel 6.5 you need bazel 6.2.1 -> bazel 6.2.1 doesn't work with Clang 16.0 -> getting Clang 14.0...

What's the consensus on mac catalyst these days? Is it usable? Or would one be in for a world of half-baked hurt?

1. Add new framework to Xcode 2. forget to lower the deployment target 3. add to app 4. wait for negative reviews to come in saying that the app is crashing... (est. 3 days-ish) Has happened more than once. Bizarre that all the validation layers don't catch this.

So apparently there are automated ways to snag up test flight beta spots. What are the kids using these days? Sort of frustrating to open the beta and it instantly gets all claimed.

Refactored Riveo to work with concurrency + Swift 6. But there are these horrible runtime assertions you can't turn off and that I have to stumble into accidentally so it's still compiled to Swift 5 >:(
