Losing 3-0 at home to St Mirren just when you think it can’t get any worse…13 league games without a win is worse than the very worst of the Glass Goodwin and Robson eras. Forget Europe. Staying in the top half looks ambitious now. Worrying. Very very worrying.

I don’t think it’s panicking to wonder whether Aberdeen might be drawn into that relegation play off spot. Can’t see us getting much from the Hibs, Dundee & Kilmarnock matches coming up & at this rate we could be out of the top half by next weekend. 🎢

The morning after that 2-1 Rangers game at Pittodrie feels like a lifetime ago. Riding high & 9 points clear of Rangers. We are now closer to the relegation play off spot than we are to Rangers in second place. Absolutely baffling.

Maybe expectations got carried away with the great start but think we just have to write this off as a transitional season. Bonus if we qualify for Europe. Every chance we slip into the bottom half. We will find a way to score and win eventually….

Sure Rab C Nesbitt could do as good a job in this Aberdeen team as Kevin Nisbet. One of the least effective & impactful strikers I’ve ever seen in our team. Should be sent packing back to Millwall this week. Not the answer. Ditto Duk.

Some positives at least. A clean sheet. Didn’t lose. McGarry’s best performance to date. Tobers looked good. Palaversa decent. Keskinen had the makings of a real star. Doohan excellent. Find a striker & creative spark and no reason we can’t make Europe.

Decent first half from McGarry. Solid enough at the back and has shown more pace & directness going forward today than Mackenzie has in months.

Bit of a niche post I know but incredibly impressed with the turnaround time from HM Passport Office. Applied for new passport on 20 December & it arrived on 31 December using standard service. Given there were 2 weekends & 2 public holidays in that period that’s outstanding.👏🏻⭐️

Better performance but got what we deserved. Lots of good possession but created very little, soft defending crosses and lacking in leaders and urgency. Major rethink and investment in this squad required. Unforgivable blowing the lead we had over fourth place.

Just watched the Aberdeen highlights. Grim viewing. Hopefully ends the Angus MacDonald revisionism. At fault to some extent at all 4 goals imo. Clarkson once again turning an Aberdeen attack into an opposition goal for their third. Keep Mitov Devlin & Topi & bin the rest.

Does anyone remember when Aberdeen were good? Feels like it was a parallel universe. Shinnie McGrath & Mackenzie honking. Mitov shaky too. Struggling to see where the next win is coming from at this rate. We are so easy to play against. Only 2 or 3 players with pass marks so far.
