In truth, his neck hurt from how hard she was squeezing his throat. She'd probably be able to see the marks her hands had left over the top of his scarf. As for his wrist. Blood was still dripping down from his fingers. Some of them were stuck in place while others hung limply. ->

As a bandit, he was well versed in effective intimidation tactics for gathering useful information. It's mostly just causing superficial wounds in sensitive areas. The most effective ones are the ones they can watch being made.

The otter's pupils shrank down the moment those burning fangs tore into his wrist. He lets out a drawn-out hiss of pain while his weapon falls from his hand. It was certain that he wouldn't be holding it properly again for a while. He couldn't even feel half of his fingers. ->

Azuchi was hardly listening to her. Her incredibly warm hands were touching the scar on his neck, the one spot where he truly felt vulnerable. Although, outside of suffocation, he noticed a lack of her going for the kill. Was she gloating? ->

He was able to backstep just enough to keep the blade from spilling his guts. The flames were a nice touch, though. It heightened his sense of danger and reminded him that near misses were still bad for him. If he was an ice type, this would have been really bad. ->
