In the same vein, I hate the idea of Resolutions. Resolutions rely on willpower to sustain them and willpower is faulty. You can't resolve to act a specific way in all circumstances because your actions should be based in the material conditions you find yourself within. Set GOALS this year instead.

Saying you “Didn’t die” as a year’s accomplishment is self degradation. You did accomplish things, not every achievement is a mountaintop peak level of excitement. You are allowed to have “boring” accomplishments. You’re allowed to take pride in yourself.
