How we vote in Denmark: When you arrive at the polling station, you normally see some organisations outside. Politicians are not allowed to campaign outside the polling station, but organisations like Red Cross or local sport clubs are allowed to collect donations.

Election day in Denmark! The polling stations are open from 8am until 8pm. I arrived at one of the busiest times, just after 6pm. It took me around 5-10 minutes to get my ballots and vote. We are voting in 2 elections, city council and regional council.

It is the evening before our elections in Denmark. Here is my election card. It shows where I should go to vote and when the voting place is open. The central registry knows who is eligible to vote, so election cards are automatically sent to your registered address. No registration needed.
