So much better today with JOB in there. Some athleticism in there alongside Tark, him and Keane too similar. Tricky with Tim out this weekend tho where to find that 6 from. Concern is Garner will move and it will be back to JOB on the right and Keane at the back. Hopefully a better option presents.

Our build up play is fine, decent even. Our final ball/decision making/movement in the final third is painful. We are also liable to a soft goal like that almost was and Semenyo’s shot. Tim has done ok but I am concerned he will lose it in a key area at some point which will lead to a chance

With the Keane news I couldn’t really see another lineup option than this one. KDH will have to be more disciplined and play deeper and hopefully Tim ups his game today. We go again at a place we never get anything. Let’s hope we get some luck and it ends up being a memorable away day.

Sad news. I’ll never forget the square cut and his bravery. Very often a beacon of light in a struggling England team. RIP The Judge 🏏

Robin Smith obituary: 'The Judge' was a fearless hero for England
Robin Smith, who has died at the age of 62, was a fearless hero in a struggling England team, but had to battle his own demons after retiring from cricket.

Defensively shocking yesterday but 14 goals in 13 games tells its own story. Just watched Roma and they struggled to create and only have 15 in 13 (only 7 conceded tho to our 17). Friedkin’s need to find some strikers! 😂

Everton that innit after Old Trafford. Back to reality, could have gone top 6 with a win…..would have been a false position. A lot of work to do…

Always amazes me teams don’t test Pickford enough aerially. Looks like Spurs let the cat t the bag on that one.

That’s Pickford’s only real weakness. If I played against him I’d whip everything into the 6 yard box like that. Felt like Spurs all over again.

Frustration we’ve all felt at Keane over the years spilled out of Gana there!! Shame it was in a game and not training. I’d love to see some common sense from the ref and give yellow and move on but refs are officious nobs and will always give red there.

Zirkzee played twice for Everton in a competition called the Generali CEE Cup in Prague but a deal wasn’t struck and he ended up moving to Bayern Munich’s youth academy later that year. “When I was there, they offered me a contract straightaway.” Sign Zirkzee up for a couple tonight then! ⚽️⚽️🙈🙈

My 9 year old just told me at their After School soccer (in California) one of the coaches is a Liverpool fan - he always walks past him and he asks ‘why are you wearing an Everton top?’ He says I just ignore him and yell ‘Up the Toffees!’ 😂💙

Today I’m mainly worried about England going with an all pace attack and toiling in the 70th over with Australia 420-3 and commentary bemoaning the lack of variety in the bowling and Joe Root 12 overs in with figures of 0-87

Interesting inflection point with Moyes now. You can see the old tensions and frustrations bubbling up with the supporters after an initial bump last season - post Dyche. Another interesting time for Evertonians, surely we aren’t going to advocate for more change. Does Moyes last this season?
