#TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles #6 was REALLY GOOD. The way Aaron portrayed the dynamic between the brothers was fantastic. The monologue Splinter had in the introduction and finale was a really nice touch, and I really like the desperate and dire state the Turtles are in. (+)

This is Cerebus 186, by Dave sim. Cerebus 186 features less than 10 pages of artwork. The rest is filled with words. What do they say? You might ask. Well, the answer is the most disgustingly sexist rant you will ever read in a comic. "The female void devours the male light"

It would've been interesting (albeit probably controversial) if the second half of Cerebus tried to give him a redemption arc. Where he denied his destiny of redeeming the church of Tarim and neglected the idea of a selective salvation in favor of breaking the cycle of ascension

Cerebus is starting to really delve deep into the weird gender rhetorics. In less than 20 issues from now it's going to get AWFUL according to the internet

Harry would be a decent Ultimate Venom. The fact that everyone arounds him always compares his abilities with Peter, and how he will never leave a legacy as impactful as him, could make for a compelling drama that makes him want to become the "Better Spider-Man".

I don't think I have ever seen the echo effect be as well done in a comic as Cerebus. This has to be one of the most creative moments in the book as of now. Also (+)

From what I'm seeing, it seems like the best way to start reading DC characters and feel fulfilled with your knowledge about their roots is via these collections. It's practically impossible to do a "read-through" of DC heroes, unlike 90% of Marvel characters.
