"Well, I knew there was something unique and powerful about you... Admittedly, 'Chaos Deity' wasn't high on my list of guesses though."

"..." "Exactly." He took that remarkably well, given that it's the first time he'd heard Majora outright refer to themselves as a deity.

"If you were my enemy, then yes, perhaps explaining this would be unwise..." He shook his head. "But you are not my enemy, so what does it matter? You have been nothing but friendly to me thus far, despite our differences."

"A very astute observation." He nodded, smiling slightly. "The stone acts as...I suppose you could call it a catalyst, allowing me to focus my power of Light." Not entirely true, but it's not called a Public Knowledge Stone.

He nodded, holding out his palm and firing a beam of radiant light at a nearby apple, cooking it to perfection. The power used was mild enough that he didn't need to open his third eye, but if Majora was paying attention, he'd see Rauru's Secret Stone glow slightly as he fired.

"Bioluminesence...Interesting!" Choosing not to read into that anymore than he has to.

"From the *eyes?!* How do you not go blind...?"

"Violence should never be a first resort." "..." "But also, shooting lasers is really fun???"

Another smile, though this one seemed less forced, and had a verrrry subtle hint of smugness to it. "I would expect nothing less." He bowed slightly as the Saurian departed.

"Selfish actions can still be mutually benefitial. There is no reason for us to fight, when together we can do much more." He wasn't wrong, but the question was if Aetla would listen.

"In a manner of speaking." He nodded in agreement, but felt the need to clarify. "My alliegence is, of course, to my own kingdom and her allies. If helping your Dominion helps my Hyrule, then yes. I wish for the benefit of it, and will do all I can too see it thrive."

"Your compatriot is wise. A more long lasting peace would be benefitial to both our kingdoms, if you were willing to entertain such thoughts, of course."

The petulence of the reptile was frustrating, but Rauru maintained a polite smile. "Of course. That seems agreeable for the time being." He nodded. An uneasy and tenuous peace was better than all out war, so he considered this a victory.

"I do not doubt the loyalty of your men. Nor their capability, for that matter. Yet as their leader, is it not your duty to make sure their lives- and should come to it, their deaths- have meaning?" "Do not send your men to die for nothing. Even if you disregard morality, it is...inefficient."

"How valuable are the lives of your soldiers?" He retorted. Rauru was patient, and generally nonviolent, but he was *not* a pacifist, and felt the need to make this clear. "This is not a surrender negotiation, this is an attempt to save us both bloodshed."

"I can tell you are intelligent. Calculating." An obvious attempt at flattery, but it at least showed that Rauru wasn't underestimating their foe. "As such, you'd understand that battles should only be undertaken when the benefits outweigh the costs. I do not think they do for you, here."
