🚨NEW POLLING: Low wages make it hard for Lake County home care workers to pay for housing, feed their families and access medical care. “As the price of everything continues to increase, we find it harder to keep our heads above water,” IHSS provider Lesia Turner told the Board of Supervisors.

Today, home care workers across Siskiyou County stood together at the Board of Supervisors meeting. Siskiyou is the only California county still paying home care workers minimum wage. We’re calling on Siskiyou Supervisors to address the long-term care crisis by raising the IHSS wage.
