Yikes, I need to read 13 more books this year to meet my #reading #challenge goal. Seems like a lot! Anyone else on here set themselves a yearly reading challenge?

Listening to @cduhigg.bsky.social talk about communication on podcasts is fascinating. Learning about: - 3 types of conversation and how to recognise them - "looping for understanding" to connect & align with the other participants I think I need to start some better habits... And read the book!

I learn a lot from reading software books that would be considered "old" now. Almost "last generation". But it's so enlightening seeing the original thoughts laid down, which are mostly still valid. Thanks @kentbeck.com for the continued inspiration. www.developdeploydeliver.com/blog/article...

Almost finished reading "Tiny Experiments" by @neuranne.bsky.social Important words: "progress is defined not only by what you learn, but also by the positive impact you create." Absolutely. I'm looking for positive impact. Hopefully the lessons in this book on following my creativity will help!
