The English localization of Psycho Dream is coming out this week. The original version is on NSO in NA and Japan, but this new version has some extra features like cheats and an art gallery. The game was directed by Kenichi Nishi, who went on to found Love-de-Lic and direct Chibi-Robo!

This is a real Hot One. Goofy but self serious. The trick is to spam the dodge button, run rings round the enemies and turn it into A Ballet Of Death. This *might* be the platonic ideal of a 7/10 PS2 game.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is a 10/10 banger. Exceptionally well paced and wonderfully clever. Pretty rude of them to release this and deny Promise Mascot Agency a GOTY clean sweep imo

Finally finished Left Alive. Extremely cool concept (survive in a city warzone and there are mechs), but they didn't manage to bring it all together. A fascinating collection of ideas bumping up against each other. When you begin, it feels unplayable but then you learn it and have fun. Wanzers rule!

That's SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked finished (first run, Amane route), AND WHAT A VIDEO GAME!! My favourite SMT combat so far. Every time I hit a difficult fight, it was all about digging into the systems to find the advantage. Superb game.

Dolls Nest is great! Demon's Souls exploration, pre-Armored Core 4 combat, and meaningful weapon choices. Also, the anime girl customiser has a "Thickness" value, which I turned all the way up 🙂🙂🙂

They made a game just for me! Anime girls in mech suits in an Armored Core-like, set in a concrete megastructure! It is only £16.75! I thought this was going to be way more! Heck yeah!

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a charming game.

Just played the demo for this and it is WONDERFUL. Big 'group of cool kids against the system' energy like Bombrush Cyberfunk and The World Ends With You. Incredible vibes, art and game.
