Trying to make more mature wolf.

I try to imagine what a teenage minotaur looks like. Thinking about it... We never actually see most monsters as children or teenagers, only fully grown adults. Here, I've repainted a photo of this "small highland cow" breed.

I think I overuse automatic filters to stylish my brushwork. But they kind of do good job. The idea was to make hairs just part of the fur. But it end just chaotic. I'm not sure if I will not just re-paint whole face. Still, interesting practice exercise.

Hmm. I think Tolkien kind of destroyed goblins. They stop being this grumpy fae, and start to be this walking exp. points. Well. They fill the need of some settings. But I think about something more Fae. This liminal figure who know paths between realms and know things what normal people missing.

Another experiment. I think I should experiment more. The style and designs starting to look too similar to each other. So I try something new. This one do not have sideburns. And the hair are more define. And less chaotic brushstrokes. Not sure if I keep all this, but it is interesting to try.

wirbus.itch.io/fractured-ci... Hmm. I was doing an Game Jam. And goes not too good. It was 10 days, but most of it I just fight with the mechanics. Overall I ended with clunky mess and squish like 5% of what I want. But it was intense learning and experimentation. So I try lot of new things.

I do not know too much about Lo-fi music, but it is great to listen when you draw. Anyone know some good "Lo-fi" in "Dark academia" style?

There are places that can be explored. Curiosity that can be satisfied. And things that can be discovered. They just take a very long time to draw them...

I draw this hardworker. I discover that their is no such thing like right lenght of the shoot. It can be only too long, or too short. And their is nothing in between. Well. But need to stay as it is, ultil I draw better versions.

8'th attempt to design this character.

The 8'th version of Tarok portrate. He is the protagonist of the story, and young gentleman for the good family, who struggles with lot of problems. With each re-design character is more define and looks little better. But I like this one, I will keep it until I get the idea for 9'th version.

Ask simple question and stare intensely... Cynocephalus this time.

In the concept phase, you can quickly get the effect using a print-screen from Google Map. Most larger cities have rough 3d scans of buildings. You can stretch and crop them to isometric proportions, and then paint the connections between. Such painted photobashing work for the gameplay tests.

And the Deer.

Drawing faces on front is much easier... Horns looks so heavy is not much space for the ears. But small eyes and solid sideburns did the trick in the design.

And experiments with goat-guys. Again, cheek bones do lot of work here, and ears are expressive. But I still have troubles with the proper light.

It is odd that Bsky impose such limit on your writing in single message, that you cant even make a short pitch... So. I posting test as graphic...

I re-painted cloths textures.

Design goals here: Protagonist see him as unachivable role model. So, I start draw him from classical era sculptures. Added gold what define the image. And I end with some kind of Minotauro-Dionisos. I'm still not sure if he do right impression but I like how it end.
