Good morning Blueskies! Dark and unseasonably mild in the Vale today. Cloudy to the point of crepuscular. Tooth faff imminent, plus a trip to the vet for M’colleague, just a check up in his case; work as well, an exercise in futility and pointlessness, much like life: let’s Tuesday!

Good evening Blueskies! A sad day on this little platform, one of the best of us has left us, albeit left us with many happy memories; long may his name be still spoken.
#GNUWombie
. Busy day too. Managed an evening amble; went by the river, for a change.

There's a big bit of internet feeling bereft today. The kindest man. He properly looked after me when I was having the worst time. He encouraged me to do all the things. My life would have been worse without him. I will miss Michael so much.

This is such sad news. If ever there was proof that you can know, support, care for, encourage, inspire & laugh with someone you’ve never met, it was embodied in this wonderful man. Michael gave so much of himself to everyone he interacted with. He was A Good Thing in a sea of Less Good Things.

Good evening Blueskies! Productive solstice; from no wrapped and several unobtained presents after our morning amble to all presents obtained, wrapped and, where required, delivered. And we got an amble in along the way. Winter sunshine on the shortest day, making for

Another lads night in. Was meant to be a Dad & Daughter night but YD sacked it after Silent Night Deadly Night and pizza; us gents are now watching Gangster No. 1 after multiple mentions on our podcast this afternoon. Not very seasonal, but bloody good. Thought we’d seen it before, but apparently no

Good evening Blueskies! Been ambling! Stayed dry, pleasant enough, could see plenty of sunshine falling on other parts, although not much fell on us. No matter! We ambled long and well.

#FridayNightIsMusicNight
; we’ll start with Sleaford Mods (feat Sue Tompkins), No Touch; Young Fathers doing Promised Land from the 28 Years Later soundtrack, one of my albums and films of the year; then Rocky Road to Dublin by Jack O’Connell on the Sinners soundtrack (ditto)

Good evening Blueskies! Busy day, but the weekend is at last upon us. Work on Monday, sadly, but not much to do… hey ho. Evening amble took us up the hill by the lodge and we listened to ghost stories… spooky

Good morning Blueskies! Dark and dry (overhead, at least) in the Vale today, promising clear skies and sunshine when it gets above the horizon, long after we’re back in our home office. Tired. No matter. Let’s Friday!

Good evening Blueskies! Busy day: getting a bit tired of it all tbh. But we press on, almost regardless. Our evening amble was damp, bordering on wet, and the river was full and fast as we crossed it.

Good morning Blueskies! Dark and dry (overhead at least) in the Vale today; unseasonably mild, mind, and spotted at least half a dozen deer caught in the light of our torch - always a delight. Let’s Thursday!

Good evening Blueskies! Busy day: stuff was done, sheets were spread, powers were pointed, keys were replaced, eventually. No matter. Our evening amble took us down the cobbles. Always a joy, and we missed the worst of the rain.

Good evening Blueskies! Busy day, not helped by the loss of keys and the subsequent re-run of our evening amble in a vain attempt to find them. Not helped by the fog on the aforementioned amble; did make for a passably moody picture, however

Goo evening Blueskies! Well that was Saturday. Had a good amble, stayed dry, seasonably chilly. Back home to YD cooking, an old Xmas special on the telly and now a movie night with m’col. A good day, all in all.

Starting slightly late because of telly, but
#FridayNightIsMusicNight
and we start with Emilíana Torrini doing Speed of Dark, because there was a song on the radio with similar energy and needed to re-listen. Spitting Off The Edge of the World by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Perfume Genius next.

Good morning Blueskies! Grey and mizzly in the Vale today, meant to be fairing up later; wfh today so hopefully faff will be reduced, and aiming to get some time back this afternoon before slightly extended weekend, with plenty of ambling. Let’s get this done, people, let’s Friday!

Good evening Blueskies! Busy day. Faffing wasn’t the half of it. WFH tomorrow, and then a long weekend. Before that, an evening amble in the dark, bit cooler tonight, we took in the river beneath interesting but disinterested skies.
