It’s snowing out today. Tried to still go to work (no snow tires on car yet) Started skidding on a hilly road. Drove back home. Called out from work. Called store to let them know I wasn’t risking my life for work. Boss says “yep” and hangs up… Welp time for hot cocoa and games.

That is an INSANE PRICE HIKE. $10 price hike for Ultimate. Very glad I am out of the Xbox Game Pass mindset forever since that is absolutely ridiculous.

Honestly, I just watched the State of Play from yesterday and well… I am not really impressed. Saros is a day fucking 1, Wolverine is also a day 1, and the God of War controller was cool for a reveal. Everything else… ehhh, looks kinda cool but definitely not for me.

That Nintendo Direct was absolutely amazing! Fire Emblem next year is great, new Mario Tennis, Mario Galaxy 2, Switch 2 editions of games, loads of new Pokemon things, Hades 2 release date, and much more in this direct. It really solidifies my Switch 2 purchase and so excited for more games coming.

After a long break away. I am back and will be posting a lot more often. August is not the best month for me but I am definitely back in full swing.

I think I am seriously going to be spending more time on PS5 than Switch 2 than I thought with how many games are using game key cards.

Well, it is finally complete. Kingdom Hearts 2 is absolutely amazing and I always love playing it. I have been getting the Platinum trophies on all of the games recently and KH2 is complete. I am glad to be done with certain things I could never beat before, and I am proud of what I accomplished.

Sorry I haven’t been super active on here. Work has been tough recently with where I am at. I am going to be more active again within the next couple of days.

Pre ordered the ghostly edition earlier. Super excited for this in November.

PS5 it is then… These GKC really are pissing me off more than I thought they were to going to.

If it came with the DLC that’s one thing… but it is ridiculously cheaper elsewhere on an actual physical disc instead of it being a GKC. I’m sorry, but this is really why I buy games on PS5 unless it is a Switch (1/2) exclusive or is fully on the cartridge.

This is basically why I buy all my multiplatform stuff on PS5 now. If you want to actually own a true physical of a game, it seems like you're generally going to need to buy it there.

This Nintendo Direct was actually really good. Reveals of many games including Octopath Traveler 0, PAC-Man World 2 RE-PAC, and The Adventures of Elliot were all great! Hyrule Warriors being shown some more was nice. I definitely expected a lot of ports, and we got that too. The show was terrific.

So fucking hyped to play this game. Liked the first, Loved the second, and I bet I’m gonna love this one!

Rayman in the Phantom Show (DLC 3 of Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope) was really fun, albeit a bit shorter than I hoped. Rayman was well crafted in the game from his opening area to how you use him to solve puzzles and fight enemies. The final boss wasn’t a shocker but was still fun. Sad it’s over.

The Last Spark Hunter (DLC 2 of Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope) was a lot of fun. The final boss was a bit more annoying than it needed to be though. I enjoyed getting 100% in this DLC. Exploring everything it had to offer from the puzzles, the world, and the battles were a lot of fun.

Completed a run through of the Tower of Doom (DLC 1 of Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope). I don’t want to grind all of the floors because it was tedious playing through. I will say it was interesting as a rogue-like, just didn’t quite stick the landing in a meaningful or super exciting way.

I had to... This was such an amazing soundtrack from this year. Also, hope everyone has been great. Been very busy with a new job and life stuff. It should quiet down a bit soon hopefully.
