Assad's tyranny & refusal to support the resistance in the past year are to blame if Syria is neutralized in relation to Israel & US hegemony. His most successful accomplishment is conflating resistance to imperialism with dictatorship & brutality.

The resilience of Palestinians standing their ground in north Gaza transcend those of modern humans who evaluate life choices based on materialist gains. In the face of capitalist American dream, Gaza provides an alt. model that is based on dignity, justice, & divine inspiration.

It's completely understandable to worry about the ramifications of the events in Syria on Gaza and the resistance, but defending Assad and his crimes against Syrians is abhorring.

Blinken is explicitly declaring that the goal of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon is to isolate the resistance in Gaza so they have no option but to surrender. The US isn't only providing support to Israel, they are leading this war to maintain hegemony in the region.
