The idea of an anthropomorphic cat detective sounds silly, but Blacksad is Noir at its best. I've only read the first two collections so far, and the first one is definitely a classic. I'm awaiting delivery of the second volume of "They All Fall Down" next week.

Two more volumes were announced but ultimately canceled. I think there was also a really big book that predates these, but those are always so clunky to handle. Even these are quite massive if you actually want to read them. #dccomics

Sorting the trades and taking pictures. This is what a Batman shelf looks like with and without figures in front. I have several figures attached to an acrylic plate with putty, so they're actually quite easy to move. The whole thing is just 4 objects that I can pull out to gain access to the books.
